Tagged as one of France"s largest rock music festivals, the Eurockeennes de Belfort hosts a number of different stages including the likes of - la Grande Scene, le Chapiteau, la Loggia and la Plage. The festival name "Eurockeennes" is a blend of two words involving the words rock and europeennes (Europeans). It was started by the Conseil general of the Territoire de Belfort, who wanted to dynamise their departement with a big cultural event for its youths. The main attraction of this festival is its location, which is along the Malsaucy lake. The site is a pretty picturesque spot, and a good place to camp. The campsite is situated at about three kilometres from the stages and main enclosure. The line up consists of rocky and poppy mix with different types of music happening on different stages.
