Janmashtami Calendar
Janmashtami, one of the most popular festival in Hindu religion is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. The festival commemorates the birth of Lord Krishna. Janmashtami falls every year in the Hindu month of Sravana (August-September). According to popular legend, Lord Krishna was born in the second fortnight of Krishna Paksh (lunar Fortnight) in Rohini Nakshatram. Lord Krishna was born at midnight.
